Day 1. Arrive Shannon
Tour departs: 9:30 AM from Shannon Airport. Welcome to Ireland, where cultural discoveries begin upon your arrival. Visit Bunratty Folk Park for a look at daily life in a traditional village, then visit a working farm in Kilfinane where you’ll meet the family and have lunch. Join us this evening for a welcome dinner at your castle hotel. Meals LD

Day 2. Cliffs of Moher
There’s nothing like your first sight of the mighty Cliffs of Moher to inspire awe in the hearts of the most seasoned travelers. The cliffs, over five miles long, and as high as 660 feet, tower over the Atlantic Ocean coastline offering amazing views. Stunning scenic beauty continues to entice on the royal grounds of Dromoland Castle, standing majestically over 410 emerald acres. Meals BLD

Day 3. Adare / Killarney
Spend the morning in the charming village of Adare, formerly the family seat of the Earls of Dunraven. Explore this picturesque village with its lovely thatched cottages and aged stonewalls. Travel to Killarney, set in the heart of Ireland’s beautiful lake district, for a journey by traditional horse-drawn jaunting cart to Muckross House. Built in 1843, this Elizabethan-style house showcases 19th-century furnishings and magnificent landscaped gardens. Meals BD

Day 4. Travel the Ring of Kerry
Journey along the captivating Ring of Kerry today around the Iveragh Peninsula. One of Ireland’s most beautiful and popular drives, it boasts diverse landscapes that change from the rugged beauty of the wild Irish coast to the tranquility of Killarney’s lakes and passes through several quintessential Irish towns. Return to Killarney late this afternoon, where the remainder of the day is at your leisure to spend as you please. Meals BLD

Day 5. Blarney Castle / Dublin
Travel through County Kerry to 15th-century Blarney Castle, where you will have the chance to acquire the gift of gab by kissing the legendary Blarney Stone. Then it’s all aboard the City Gold train in first-class seats from Mallow to Ireland’s capital city of Dublin, rich in history and proud of its past. Tauck has arranged an evening of Irish folklore and storytelling tonight at a typical Irish pub, located near your city-center hotel. Meals BLD

Day 6. Explore Dublin
Experience an in-depth introduction to Dublin’s landmark attractions on a city sightseeing tour that includes lively O’Connell Street, elegant Georgian squares, and beautiful parks. We’ll take you inside Trinity College Library to see the 8th-century Book of Kells, before giving you the opportunity to enjoy the city as you wish. Your hotel, The Westbury, is set right in the heart of the city, just steps away from famed Grafton Street; it is a member of the Leading Hotels of the World. Meals B

Day 7. Glendalough / Dublin
Venture outside of Dublin into the hills of Wicklow to the ancient monastic settlement of Glendalough via Tauck’s Yellow Roads. Set deep in a valley between two lakes, Glendalough was established by St. Kevin in the 6th century. Most of the ruins and sites date from the 10th century and are remarkably preserved; see some of the most significant ones on a guided tour. Return to Dublin midday for time at leisure. Join us tonight for a farewell dinner. Meals BD

Day 8. Journey Home
Tour ends: 7:00 AM at Dublin Airport. Persons departing at other times should secure their own transportation. Meals B
