Day 1: Overnight Flight
From rugged natural beauty to vibrant and historical cities, the diverse charms of Scotland and Ireland await.

Day 2: Edinburgh, Scotland - Tour Begins
Your tour begins in Edinburgh - Scotland’s regal capital city. Tonight, meet your fellow travelers for a welcome dinner.

Day 3: Edinburgh
A locally guided tour of the city begins with a visit to the famous Palace of Holyroodhouse*, once the home of Mary, Queen of Scots. Next, explore the famous Royal Yacht Britannia which sailed more than a million miles in service to the Queen. Enjoy a free afternoon to discover Edinburgh independently.

Day 4: Edinburgh - Glamis - Inverness
Leave Edinburgh for a guided tour of Glamis Castle. Centuries old, the castle remains the residence of the Earls of Strathmore and was the birthplace of the Queen Mother. This afternoon, visit a Scottish whisky distillery and taste one of the world’s most well-known whiskies! Enter the Highlands as you travel towards Inverness where you will overnight.

Day 5: Inverness - Loch Ness - Ft. William - Loch Lomond - Cumbernauld
This morning, drive the historic military road along the southern shores of Loch Ness, passing the famous Falls of Foyers. Keep your eyes peeled and your camera ready for sightings of “Nessie!” Make a stop in the former garrison town of Ft. William. Later, take a scenic cruise on Loch Lomond, Britain’s largest lake.

Day 6: Cumbernauld - Ferry Crossing - Belfast, Northern Ireland
An early start takes you along the scenic Ayrshire coast to your ferry. Cross the famed Irish Sea as you head for Northern Ireland’s capital city of Belfast. Upon arrival, settle into your city-center hotel for a two-night stay.

Day 7: Belfast - Downpatrick - Belfast
Enjoy a fascinating guided tour of Belfast, Northern Ireland’s largest city. Learn about the struggles in this great city’s history as you pass through its distinctive neighborhoods. See “Samson” and “Goliath,” the massive cranes of the shipyard that built the legendary Titanic. Next, travel to Downpatrick to see the reputed grave of St. Patrick before visiting the Heritage Centre which tells the story of his life.

Day 8: Belfast - Glens of Antrim - Giant’s Causeway - Derry
Venture along the stunning Antrim Coastal Route, stopping at the wondrous Giant’s Causeway. Formed by volcanic activity millions of years ago, the causeway resembles an old cobbled road leading mystically into the sea. Continue to the walled city of Derry, situated on the banks of the River Foyle. Enjoy a walking tour featuring the medieval city walls, St. Augustine's Cathedral and the Guildhall.

Day 9: Derry - County Donegal - Glenveagh National Park - Derry
Today’s journey showcases the rugged beauty of County Donegal. Visit spectacular Glenveagh National Park, a natural wonderland covering 40,000 acres of mountains, lakes and woodland. Enjoy a guided visit to stately Glenveagh Castle, set amidst the colorful splendor of one of the finest gardens in Ireland. Return to Derry with time to explore the town on your own and enjoy an evening at leisure.

Day 10: Derry - Ulster American Folk Park - Dublin, Republic of Ireland
Travel to the Ulster American Folk Park where you will find collected buildings and artifacts from generations past. As you walk through the museum, learn how the Irish used to live and about the tragic and triumphant experiences that awaited them in America after emigration. Pass through the scenic countryside and cross into the Republic of Ireland. Your day ends in the “Fair City” of Dublin.

Day 11: Dublin
A locally guided tour of Dublin highlights the world-renowned St. Patrick’s Cathedral, O’Connell Street, Grafton Street, Phoenix Park, and the city’s magnificent rows of lovely Georgian town homes. Spend the rest of your day at leisure as you delve further into Dublin's cultural treasures. This evening, partake in an “Irish Night,” a memorable experience featuring great local cuisine and traditional Irish entertainment.
