Day 1: Depart USA
Board your overnight transatlantic flight (cost not included in land only price).

Day 2: Arrive in Dublin, Ireland
This afternoon, take a trip along Dublin Bay to visit Malahide Castle, reputed to be the home to no less than 5 ghosts! This evening, savor a Welcome Dinner with wine. (Welcome Dinner)

Day 3: Dublin Sightseeing & at Leisure
On a walking tour, see Dublin Castle, ruins of medieval buildings, the modern city and remnants of archaeological finds. Stop at the Guinness Storehouse for lunch and discover what goes into making the “black stuff.” End in the Gravity Bar with a pint. The rest of the day is free. (Breakfast, Lunch)

Day 4: Dublin / Donegal
Travel to Ireland's Lakelands. Board a waterbus for a two-hour cruise, stopping at Devenish Island, home to one of the finest monastic sites in Northern Ireland. Afterward, on to Donegal and the 17th-century Lough Eske Castle Hotel. Enjoy dinner and the castle's amenities this evening. (Breakfast, Dinner)

Day 5: Donegal / Ballynahinch Castle
After time to stroll through the castle grounds, head south to Westport. Take a walk along the treelined Mall. Later, continue through lovely Connemara's to Ballynahinch Castle. (Breakfast, Dinner)

Day 6: Inishbofin Island Excursion
Stop in the town of Clifden, then take a drive along the Sky Road to Cleggan. Here, board a ferry bound for Inishbofin Island, inhabited since 4000 B.C. The island boasts magnificent scenery, from green hills to white sandy beaches and rare flora and fauna. (Breakfast, Dinner)

Day 7: Ballyna hinch Castle / Killarney
Head to Galway for a visit to the cathedral. On to see the Cliffs of Moher, rising 700 feet above the Atlantic. Later, travel to lively Killarney. (Breakfast, Dinner)

Day 8: Ring of Kerry Excursion
Travel the road that winds around the Iveragh Peninsula, better known as the Ring of Kerry. Stopping at Torc Waterfall, there is a chance to join a leisurely guided hike. Those not joining the hike will return by coach to Killarney. (Breakfast) NOTE: The hike travels over wooded paths and lakeshore trails. While there are no mountains to climb, walkers need to be fit, have good walking shoes or boots, sunscreen and raingear.

Day 9: Killarney / Kilkenny
Your first stop this morning is at the Old Midleton Distillery, home of Jameson Irish whiskey. Visit the Old Cooperage and complete the experience with a whiskey tasting. On to Kilkenny for a walking tour. Continue to Lyrath Estate, set amid 170 acres of parkland. (Breakfast)

Day 10: Kilkenny / Dublin
Imposing Kilkenny Castle was built in the early 13th century. A guided tour brings its history to life. Then, return to Dublin and relish a Farewell Dinner at the Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel. (Breakfast, Farewell Dinner)

Day 11: Depart Dublin
Take an included transfer to the airport where your vacation ends. (Breakfast)
